This painting represents my home and where I come from. The deep red tones reflect the red dirt that surrounds us — the land that holds our stories and identity.
The smaller circles and shapes symbolise the little communities, friends, and family who come together in Cobar, showing connection and belonging.
The stars and spirits remind us that we are never alone. They represent our ancestors watching over us, guiding us, and walking with us.
